Company Overview


Frostechnic was formed in 1989 as a Company with the purpose of mainly supplying control panel solutions into the refrigeration industry. The Company was formed by Paul Neal ( ex Swan Generators, Ambascope Controls & REA Bott’s) & Kevin Hardy ( Also Ambascope Controls & later Fridge Controls) to offer a complete & comprehensive service with after sales & complete service back up.

Now, some 20 years on, we been supporting Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury, Co-op, Somerfield & many other Supermarket chains throughout it's history with direct accounts & via an assortment of hi profile contractors.

Control Panel

The team has now grown to over 30 employees all quality trained & each providing their own excellent input to achieve a consistant high level finished product.

Producing control panels has led us in many directions & strengthened our profile in a volatile market .

We have developed various electronic devices for use on control systems to include electronic cam timers, alarm integrators, moisture alarms, pack controllers, personnel trapped alarms & the Frosprotector+ alarm series.

Control Panel

We are currently developing the Frostprotector +3 alarm system which will have the standard alarm features but also have multi alarm function & IP addressable PIC chip allowing any coldroom to be accessed via a standard PC. All can be stand alone or built into the panels

We have a service team looking after outside works providing service & backup to all of our products. We also currently look after electrical preventative maintenance on some 130+ Waitrose stores ensuring smooth running of its refrigeration control systems, alarms & plant.

 

We build pack & coldroom control panels using RDM, Danfoss, Tektroniks, Carel, Dixel & Eliwell to name but a few. We are currently supplying control panels with Millenium controllers (mini PLC) to monitor discharge pressure & take control of new EC condenser fan motors.


Optisense Optical Liquid Level Sensor

We have a new optical level sensor that has been developed specifically for liquid level sensing in a pack receiver, but a similar rod using identical technology has been used in various liquid applications to include fuel, oil & other liquids & all have proved successful & sold well.

With green issues & power consumption high on everyone’s agenda, we are providing the ABB ACH range of inverters fully programmed, to fit on most motors & make the most of cutting energy costs!
